(My first attempt at Tanka)
Embellishing greens
a sprinkle of radiance
these gems from heaven
bringing succour to our soul
drizzle of vitality

[My pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo) patch continues to feature in my odes as the curious tendrils reach out to relish the cool wetness of the unseasonal drizzle.]

Thank you, Ma’am. Neither had I, but all these poets on WordPress contribute to my inquisitiveness. 🙂

As for Linda, this form of poetry was new to me, too, Narendra. I really enjoy what you did with it.
