(A haiku of hypocoristic metaphors)
Bloodied revulsion,
the brittle overstrung life,
a sanguine comfort.
Lengthening shadows,
abject furtherance exhorts,
anchoring largesse.
Presumptuous fate,
an abundance to bequeath,
underpinning hope.
[This haiku takes root – or rather, support – from the tendril. The tendril is a modified stem or leaf and is a threadlike, prehensile, chemotropic appendage which possesses a twining tendency that helps it support and anchor a vining plant. In the frame are the leaves and the first tender tendril of my pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo).]

Brilliant photography. Looking forward to seeing some great pumpkin stories soon.

Thanks a lot, Neel! 🙏🏻😊
Let’s see how it grows. By the way, we’re reaping a rich harvest from all three chilli plants after nearly 5 months of planting the seeds! 🙂
