The Convex Meniscus

(A philosophical sparrow articulates quiddity of being)

Cold conurbation,
devouring viridescence,
lifeless existence!

Pursuing a niche,
antagonistic expanse,
voluminous void!

Cerulean skies,
within the watering cup,
delusion beckons!

A convex mirage,
hope desire aspire,
meniscus allure!

  1. Wow! This is complex – deep and layered. First of all I had to google the meanings of meniscus and conurbation. So, I learnt few new words 😀
However, I did get the essence of it without knowing those words. 🙂

    1. Thanks a lot for your kind appreciation of my ruminations, R. 🙏🏻
Ha ha…I just have a few words lying around in the attic which I show off once in a while 😄
And then I always try to be at the garage sale of friends like you, who have a great vocab themselves, as often as I can. 🙂

  3. I just love the complexity. Extraordinary. A very refreshing writing style and yeah, a wide range of interesting words. Glad to have come across the blog. It certainly is sui generis, and different from what I may have seen as of now. Please keep writing, cause reading your works is just, I dunno, rejuvenating. Peace and greetings from Sui generis 💛💛
    Admiringly,
    Shanyu.

You have a nice blog there and I found your style “sui generis” and writings quite engrossing. I do look forward to reading more of your work in the days ahead. Cheers! 👍🏼
