A Distressed Feather

I soar up high, and thence swoop low,
Seeking a haven, weary this crow;
I yearn to roost, need repose n rest,
To brood a family, first build a nest;
But there is no tree, as far as I see,
You’ve hacked them all, left none for me!
Did Mother not tell you, we too are alive,
Why did you evolve, if we all can’t thrive?
